Although the country's paper dilemma is due to global inflation, the current administration's bad policies and the local paper industry's monopoly are to blame. In conjunction with leading economist Kaiser Bengali, the All Pakistan Paper Merchant Association, Pakistan Association of Printing Graphic Art Industries (PAPGAI), and other connected organizations held a press conference. The decision has been made to suspend publishing textbooks for the upcoming school and college academic year due to the current crisis, according to the association of print traders, publishers, and paper traders.When the nation is trapped in a vicious cycle of borrowing to pay off prior debts, a Pakistani columnist has questioned the nation's "incompetent and failed rulers" on how to handle economic difficulties.


The initial date for Pakistan's national elections was August 2023. Prior to it, however, Prime Minister Imran Khan was forced to step down after losing the vote of no-confidence. The coalition government led by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has disintegrated before the end of its tenure, continuing a historical trend. Shahbaz Sharif then assumed the position of Prime Minister. In the midst of political unrest, the nation's economy is on the point of collapse. In the interim, the cost of fuel oil has increased significantly across the nation. And along with it, the cost of things is rising.
