The government wants to ensure uninterrupted power supply to industrial areas within planned load shedding. Due to this, it has been decided to close the factories for each day in each industrial area. The Department of Inspection of Factories and Establishments of the Ministry of Labor and Employment has published the list of holidays in various industrial areas. It will be in effect until further orders are issued. According to the new list, the industrial establishments will be closed from tomorrow Friday.

All industries will be closed for one day in a week

This was informed by issuing a notification on Thursday. The holiday orders of various industrial areas will come into effect from today. Earlier on August 7, the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources proposed holidays on different days in a meeting with business leaders. Considering the country's energy situation, businessmen also agreed with the government's decision in that meeting.
