Begum Rokeya Training Center, Myamensingh will provide free training for skill development of women. Training will be given in four subjects. Trainees will also get an allowance of Rs 300 per month. Apart from this, the government will bear the cost of accommodation and food.
Training on subjects
Certificate in Beautification, Housekeeping and Care Giving, Dress Making and Tailoring and Training in Computer Office Applications will be imparted. Candidates must have at least JSC/JDC/equivalent pass for applying in first three courses and minimum qualification for applying in computer office application course is HSC pass.
Candidates age should be between 16 to 40 years to apply. Sample application form is available on this website. Application can be made directly or by post. The training should be done in accordance with the hygiene rules of the Ministry of Health and the class should be worn with face masks and gloves.
Certificate in Beautification course trainees will have to deposit a total of Tk 650 (refundable) along with the board examination center fee Tk 200, registration fee Tk 450. TA/DA will not be given for appearing in the entrance test and will have to undergo hands-on practical training on various aspects of agriculture in the morning and afternoon.
Training facilities
Resident trainees will be given a monthly allowance of Tk 300 per person. Apart from this, there is free accommodation and food. Training allowance of Tk 100 per day will be given to non-resident dress making trade trainees based on attendance.
Admission Test
The admission test for computer office application will be held on September 19 at 10:30 am and the admission test for the remaining three courses will be held on October 2 at 10:30 am.
