Minimum age of applicant in 9th and 10th grade is 21 years as on 5 February 2023 and maximum age is 30 years as on 25 March 2020. Minimum age of applicant for 16th to 20th grade is 18 years as on 5 February 2023 and maximum age is 30 years as on 25 March 2020. However, the maximum age limit is 32 years for children of freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters and disabled candidates. Age is relaxable for departmental candidates.
Maximum age limit is 45 years for Defense/Police retirees in the post of 'Security Assistant (Male)'. Maximum age limit is 45 years in case of Defense/Police/Retired Soldiers or Battalion Ansar Force Retirees in the post of 'Security Guard (Male)'.

However, children/grandchildren of freedom fighters and orphans and physically challenged candidates of all districts can apply for all posts.
