Must have computer skills and experience in operating word processing, e-mail, fax machines etc. The minimum speed of transcription is 80 words per minute in English and 50 words in Bengali; The minimum speed of computer typing should be 30 words per minute in English and 25 words in Bengali.

Candidates age should be between 18 to 30 years as on 19 February 2023. However, the age limit is relaxable up to 40 years in case of departmental candidates for posts No. 2 and 4. Age limit is 32 years in case of children of veer mukti jodha/martyr veer mukti joddha and physically challenged and below 30 years in case of grandchildren of veer mukti joddha/martyr veer mukti joddha. As on 25 March 2020 the candidate will be eligible to apply if the maximum period is 30 years.
