The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the 14-member Bangladesh squad for the first two ODIs of the three-match series against England. Touhid Hridoy got the call for the first time. Vijay, Rabbi, Sohan, Nasum, Shariful have dropped from the team in the last series.

The colored ball series between Bangladesh and England will start from 1st March. Where two teams will play three matches in ODI and T20. The two teams will first meet in the ODI series.

Hriday has scored 403 runs with the bat in this year's BPL season. Right-handed top-order batsman Hridiya scored this run at a strike rate of 140 in five fifties. This batsman has made it to the ODI squad of the national team due to his excellent performance.
