The 44th BCS Preliminary Examination saw 15,708 candidates pass. The Bangladesh Public Service Commission's sources were used to obtain this information (BPSC).The outcomes are available on the website.

The 44th BCS Preliminary Examination for this academic year was held on May 27. Exams were given with participants in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Mymensingh.

According to the notice of the 44th BCS, 1,710 officers will be recruited in different cadres in this BCS. 250 of them work in the administration cadre, 50 in the police cadre, 10 in international affairs, 14 in Ansar, 30 in accounting and audit, 11 in tax, 8 in cooperatives, 7 in railway transport and business, 10 in information, 23 in the post, 6 in business, and 27 in family planning. 3 in food, 485 in technical cadre and 716 in education cadre.

3 lakh 50 thousand 716 individuals submitted applications for the 44th BCS.

On December 30 of last year, the 44th BCS's online application process opened. The deadline for applications was January 31. The PSC later raised it to March 2. Due to the National University's final examination not being finished, the application period was delayed by nearly a month.
