The BNP has been invited by the government to the Padma Bridge's opening ceremony. On Wednesday, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, senior joint secretary general of the party, received the invitation letter from Dulal Chandra Sutradhar, Deputy Secretary, Bridges, Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, during a visit to the party's central office in Naya Paltan.
On June 22, at 11 a.m., deputy secretary of the bridge division Dulal Chandra Sutradhar visited the BNP's headquarters in Naya Paltan in the capital and gave senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi the invitation letter.
BNP deputy chairman Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, standing committee members Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Abdul Moin Khan, and Nazrul Islam Than, as well as secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, received invitation cards.
At the time, Abul Khair Bhuiyan, Khairul Kabir Khokon, and Senior Joint Secretary General of the BNP Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed were there.
