40 people will be appointed to the post of forester under the revenue sector of the Forest Department under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Affairs. Interested candidates have to submit the application form through post or directly.

Applicants should possess Diploma in Forestry degree from a recognized board. In terms of physical fitness, height is 163 cm and chest size is 76 cm

District candidates cannot apply

Khagrachari, Bagerhat, Narail, Faridpur, Barisal, Jhalkathi and Pirojpur districts. However, candidates from all districts can apply for orphan and physically challenged quota.

age limit

Applicant age should be between 18 to 30 years. However, the maximum age limit for children of freedom fighters and physically challenged candidates is 32 years. According to the instructions of the Ministry of Public Administration, even if the applicant is 30 years old on March 25, 2020, he can apply.

How to apply

The job application form should be downloaded from the website of the forest department. Apart from this, it can be collected from the establishment unit of the Directorate of Forests, Agargaon, Dhaka during office hours. The job application form should be duly filled and reached by post to the Chief Conservator of Forests, Directorate of Forests, Forest Bhavan, Agargaon, Sherbangla Nagar, Dhaka-1207 during office hours or directly to the box placed on the second floor of Forest Bhavan, Agargaon, Dhaka. No application form will be accepted after the prescribed time.

Two recent photographs of the candidate should be attached with the job application form. The candidate has to sign the prescribed application form with a ball pen in thick ink.

Written and Oral Examination will be conducted as per schedule 2 of Forest Department Staff Recruitment Rules, 2019. Height and chest measurements will be taken during the oral test. The venue, date and time schedule of the examination will be intimated to the candidates in due course through their correspondence address/ website of Forest Department.

Documents to be produced by the applicant at the time of oral examination are all original/temporary certificates related to educational qualification, national identity card and citizenship certificate of concerned Union Parishad Chairman/Municipal Mayor/Ward Councilor of City Corporation.

Candidates should send a bank draft/pay-order of Tk 200 towards the examination fee in favor of Assistant Chief Conservator of Forests, Finance, Budget and General Instruction Unit, Forest Bhavan, Agargaon, Dhaka. Last date of application is 16 March 2023.
