Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University has released a notification for the recruitment of 34 teachers in various departments and institutes. Among them, 3 professors, 3 associate professors, 7 assistant professors and 21 lecturers will be recruited. Interested candidates should apply in the prescribed form of the university.
1. Post Name: Professor
Category & Number of Posts: One in Animal Production and Management, one in Dairy Science and one in Agriculture
Age: Maximum 50 years
Pay Scale: Rs.56,500-74,400
2. Post Name: Associate Professor
Category and Number of Posts: One in Pharmacology and Toxicology, one in Surgery and Theriogenology, one in Aesthetics and Plant Breeding.
Age: Maximum 45 years
Pay Scale: 50,000-71,200 Tk
3. Post Name: Assistant Professor
Category and Number of Posts: Two in Anatomy, Histology and Physiology, one in Microbiology and Parasitology, one in Pathology, one in Pharmacology and Toxicology, one in Surgery and Theriogenology and one in Horticulture.
Age: Maximum 40 years
Pay Scale: Tk 35,500-67,010
4. Post Name: Lecturer
Category and Number of Posts: One in Agriculture, Two in Soil Science, One in Plant Pathology, One in Biochemistry, Two in Aesthetics and Plant Breeding, One in Agricultural Botany, One in Agroforestry and Ecology, Two in Agricultural Engineering, One in Development and Poverty Studies, Two in Pathology, One in Seed Technology, one in Agronomy, one in Aesthetics and Plant Breeding, one in Horticulture, one in Plant Pathology, one in Entomology and one in Agricultural Economics.
Age: Maximum 30 years
Pay Scale: Tk 22,000-53,060
How to apply:
From March 28 to May 14, the prescribed sample form of application form (Application Form-1) and information regarding educational qualifications, experience and other qualifications and conditions required for recruitment can be collected from the university website . Duly filled application form eight sets including original for the post of Professor and Associate Professor and total seven sets including original for the post of Assistant Professor and Lecturer should be sent to the Registry by post/courier service or directly to the Office of the Registrar of the University.
Application fee
Rs 1,000 for Professor and Associate Professor posts and Rs 750 for Assistant Professor and Lecturer posts along with bank draft/pay-order receipt should be attached with the application form.
